About Naomi Naomi Friedman has been teaching and studying food for over 25 years. She thanks her father for teaching her the essence of creativity in the kitchen. She has studied with Michael Chiarello and Beth Hensberger in Yosemite as well as at the Simile Cooking School in Bologna, Italy. Naomi brings a special magic to her kitchen and her friendly market tours. She writes for Tastegurus and is an active member of Slow Food International. Naomi can be found foraging at local Bay Area markets most of the year unless she is discovering new treasures in the markets and kitchens of Italy. “After discovering the freshest, locally grown ingredients, I delight in spontaneous cooking—inspired by my new found savory treasures. I look forward to sharing this joy with you.” —Naomi Friedman |
